Video of performances at Activating the Medium Festival at The LAB (San Francisco) and Penington Friends House Japan Benefit

This work explores spatialization through audience participation, broadcasting different synchronized sounds to separate corresponding radios that are handed to the audience. The audience is encouraged to pass the speakers around the room, which allows them to engage with the individual sounds as well as each other during the process of listening. There is also a high potential for interference with the sounds, allowing the audience to choose whether to allow or reject that interference.
