Intervals is a two-channel audio work made in conjunction with the installation Interval/Habitat, imagining how the approach to space and perception used in that light and sound installation could apply to a sound-only piece. The work focuses on perception of presence; exploring a dynamic between sounds intended to highlight the actual playback space versus sounds that represent or fabricate external, imaginary spaces.
